The Healing Center, A Center for Alternative Wellness was born to be an oasis for people looking for ways to become whole within their bodies, Spirit and mind. "Alternative Wellness", comes in many forms to aide healing in ones life. We are a Metaphysical Center for Healing, a doorway to Alternative Wellness.

Our goal is to aide direct and teach people alternative ways to find peace and wellness. We offer several means to alternative wellness, rather then traditional medicine.  However we do not promote people replacing their physicians and traditional medicine, everything has a place and reason for being.  Alternative Wellness Therapies are used usually when traditional medicine hasn't worked

We choose to use the term "Alternative Wellness" in place of "medicine" to empower being whole, and well, believing that our words create the reality we live in.  Choose to say I am well and whole and all is well within my world, instead of empowering illness, sickness and living a world that isn't your idea of life.

There are many ways to promote wellness, by using the different healing therapies offered through our Healing Center, Here is a list of a few and the meanings:

Gemstone Therapy: Use of crystals or gemstones to facilitate balance and healing.

Essential Oil Therapy: Essential oils are the liquid extracts from aromatic plants trees and grasses. The term essential oil is derived from the word quintessence, meaning an “extract of a substance containing its principle in its most concentrated form”. Essential oils are highly volatile and evaporate quickly if left in the open air. When left in the open air, the oils create an aromatic scent, as reflected in the name aromatherapy.

The most common therapeutic methods of use for essential oils involves the oils entering the body’s systems through the skin or via inhalation. Because of their small molecular structure, especially their fat-soluble nature, essential oils can penetrate the skin more freely than other types of plant oils, for example, vegetable oils.

Herbal Therapy: Herbal Therapy is the use of plants or plant extracts for medicinal purposes (especially plants that are not part of the normal diet)  Adding different herbs to ones diet can improve digestion, and wellness to ones life.  Also keeps your body in better condition for longevity.

Incense Therapy: Another form of aroma therapy, used to improve ones spiritual heath, and for meditation purposes

Aroma Therapy: Aroma therapy involves putting a few drops of some kind of fragrant plant oil in one's bath water, sniffing it from an inhaler, or massaging it into the skin.  Claims such as putting fragrant oil into a warm bath will help insomnia, or rubbing oils on the genitals promotes sexual stimulation clearly confuses the action of the oils with the effects of a warm bath per se, or the effect of genital massaging.  Aroma therapy theory eulogizes smell as "the most direct route to the brain," and therefore, superior as a route of administration.

Candle Therapy: From ancient times to the present, Candles have lit our way through every transition! From celebrations and ceremonies to proclamations and processions! The candle's flame has always been a metaphor for the soul! It possesses a tranquil and almost hypnotic atmosphere to those who allow its power to take them to a very special place.

There are many ways to utilize the power of Candle Therapy. Complementary systems of color therapy, aromatherapy, music and sound therapy can and do overlap within the healing process to create a positive and powerful approach to finding the balanced system. These complementary systems with Candle Therapy, are all configured and intertwined within the practice of it's theory and application.

Crystals & Crystal Therapies: Crystal healing is the belief that crystals have energies and properties that are able to improve health. It is not part of standard medical theory, but it is included in a broader view of crystal power that says crystals, which are minerals with a periodic atomic structure, possess metaphysical abilities.  Quartz Crystal Crystal healers say that it works because everything is energy and vibrates at various frequencies and that crystals work via these vibrations. Every living thing has a vibrational energy system, which includes chakras, subtle bodies and meridians. By using the appropriate crystals one can retune an energy system or rebalance a body's energies, thus improving well-being.

Our Metaphysical retail area, carries such items as meditation an relaxation CD's., divination tools such as cards, aura borealis crystals, crystals, worry stones, gemstones, healing wands, and pendulums, candles, aroma therapy diffusers, of many kinds, and waterfall diffusers.  We offer hand dipped incense, with many flavors and we carry many types of incense, from cone, to 11"stick and resin and rock incense. we have aromatherapy candles, affirmation candles, "Eye of the Day" candles. We perform many healing therapies, such as Reiki, Divine Intervention,  hypnotherapy to name a few, and phone healing therapies. Our Gemstone Essences are used either as an oral, topical or  just gemstone crystal therapy, each come with instructions how to use it and with the complete gemstone properties, along with an eyedropper. These are defiantly and Elixir of the Earth.

Our Essential Oils, are listed on our essential oil area with complete properties, and use.  These are one of the therapies that you can use for yourself in aide to your wellness.
